2 More Nights Of Sleep In A Bed.

So this is officially my first blog...ever. I am sitting on the couch, watching a movie, enjoying the last days of luxury before embarking on the journey of a lifetime. We are leaving Seward, Alaska on Monday, October 4th. We don't have any set plans, no real destination. When I say we, this is consists of my boyfriend, Freddy-Rico, (depending on who you ask). Our friend and former roommate Hoku is driving his truck as far as Washington with us too. I think it should be quite the exciting Canadian adventure. Going to try and go to the hot springs finally.
     We bought a 1980 Volkswagen and decided that we are going to hit the road and see what kind of adventure we can find. So we are going  to start on the West Coast and see where it takes us. Freddy is from Texas so we will end up there for awhile. I want to make it to North Carolina at some point. Just to see. I've never really been anywhere Southeast. And North Carolina has the same unknown splendor that Alaska had for me before I got here.
    My heart is giddy with excitement, nerves are a little, well, nervous. Always a big change up-rooting from somewhere. I think that this truly is going to be the trip of a lifetime. I'm going to try to update this thing daily. I am a bit of a procrastinator though.:) Enjoy the ride.
